Noel Cosca grew up in the county suburb of Danville near Mount Diablo, CA. Following a distinguished career in the horse show arena with many state championships in both english and western riding, she found her passion for rodeo events at the age of sixteen. Notable events in her early life included completing the Tevis Cup, a "One Hundred Miles in One Day" race, qualified for the High School Rodeo National Finals winning the barrel race and working all the events such as team roping, break-away calf roping, goat tying and cutting.Noel Cosca fills her GRA Permit at first pro rodeo in Antioch CA now lives and train barrel racing horses in Friant California

In the early 1970's Noel filled her GRA “Girls Rodeo Association” card winning her first event the Antioch Pro Rodeo. Persuing a professionl career in rodeo she qualifed for the Sierra Circuit Finals now called the California Circuit Finals.

Noel married Steve Cosca in 1983, piled everything they owned into the back of their trucks and horse trailers and moved from the Bay Area to Sutter Creek, California to punch cows. It was a full time job turning a rundown
350 acre ranch in the Sierra foothills into a working cattle operation but after 9 years, and two children, the job was complete. The successful transformation was then sold and the family moved south to their horse ranch near Fresno.
